Currently, for forms built for offline mode, users can only save their data on the first (root) page of the form. Any actions or data entered on lower-level pages are not saved until users return to the first page and tap Save. If the app is closed without saving, the data cannot be recovered.

To address this, we’ve added new notifications to help ensure that users are informed about unsaved changes and reminded to save their work:

  • Unsaved changes warning banner: A warning message appears in the mobile form whenever a draft version of the form is detected.
  • Unsaved changes reminder: A notification is sent to the user if they have unsaved changes when they put the app in the background. This serves as a reminder to save any work before closing the app.

These updates are designed to reduce the risk of data loss and improve the overall experience when working with offline mobile forms.

These features are available from Skedulo Plus v3.11.
